It was in 2005 when I got him. Now just less than 3 months after Ringo left us, Brownie followed him with eyes wide open. Can’t even close it.
He was born with a stylish hairstyle, with head slightly tilted to the left. He is full of his own character, not allowing anybody to hold him anyhow.
Rest in peace Brownie. I love you and will always remember you.

Vicky bought him for me in August 2004… It was a period where Ringo cheered me up alot. Ringo was small and bony…

At night I slept with him in the same room and he would run around in his home (then a big box) during midnight, and drink lots of water making the ‘tak tak tak’ sound. I cleaned his home every 3 days. I brought him in and out of the room and in the end he ended up in the living room because he was too noisy at night…

When Ringo was young, he was a good boy. I bathed him, fed him, scolded him, played with him, brought him out, made him do stunts… I have so little pictures of him before Brownie came. Time flies…

Ringo continued to grow… grow… grow. Then stopped after a year plus. Within that period of time a visitor came to our house and asked, “oh you bought a new guinea pig?”. And my mum said “No, its the same one, its grown.”

Then we bought Brownie. Ringo is still a good boy. They took turns to go into that wooden house we bought them.

I ate green apples with them everyday. I also gave him and them veg before I cook them. I always gave him the best I could.

He lost so much weight all of a sudden. We brought him to a vet and got his Malocclusion fixed. He had an operation. But his weight never went up again. Vet says he’s fine. Maybe if we noticed earlier he would live a bit longer?

My mum said he still ate a lot the night before he left us.

Its been 4yrs and 2 months since we had Ringo with us. He was a charismatic, mature, calm, relaxed, handsome, homely boy with great temperament.

Why did he leave us when I was away from him? Its only been 8 months.
We love him very much.

His last photo.

We will always love you Ringo.

I received a news from Brisbane.
HAZEL GAVE BIRTH TO 2 BABIES!!!!!!
The whole light brown one hehehe

The darker brown with light brown patches one ehheheeheh

Haha so cuuutteee right!!!!!!! Like look so weird lidat heeheheh
We had thought both are females, so this came as a GREAT BIG SURPRISE to us and ‘BEAUTIFUL MISUNDERSTANDING’ to me!!!!!!
But now we still not sure if Caramel is a guy, but we just separate them 1st just in case
Even if Caramel is a guy, it is still possible that Caramel is not the father
And since the pregnancy is on average 2 and the half months… Before we bought them Hazel is already pregnant!!!!!
Anyways,
:D:D:D:D:D:D!!!!

Hello there

You might have heard about our names briefly previously,
or when Lianhua bragged about how feminine and kept we are,
or how Ringo and Brownie drooled over us when they heard about us

Anyways,
We are Hazel and Caramel (from the left)

I don’t know why we are named so

But we guess coz Lianhua is soo crazie over chocolates

And chocolates (yes 1 KG of the below packet and there was another 1KG of white chocolate ones that she finished too, we were glad she didn’t puke after that though)
Or maybe coz she saw a caramel colored patch on my face, that she named me Hazel
Or coz I looked kinda like a hazelnut to her, so she called me Caramel

Anyways

That’s the most prominent difference between us

Besides that Caramel has a dark brown butt and more caramel colours on her body

And Hazel has more dark brown color on her body

So this is me, Hazel, with caramel-patched face and darker upper body, and cheekier than Caramel

Anyways,
We were grateful Lianhua didn’t name us Smiths and Dorito
or
Hello and Kitty
though

And hopefully she doesn’t BBQ us for her dinner one day when she runs out of chocolates

Oh Anyways,
We were hoping that we could get to visit Ringo and Brownie in Singapore though. Heard Ringo is a S.N.A.G. and Brownie is as cheeky as me. Oops~
Aight. See ya’ ! Chaoz ~!

Got over to Gold Coast over the weekend. Colder there cause of the beaches I guess. Not a single topless babe when I went because of the season and weather I guess. No luck at all. (pardon the lessie-ness in me).
Went Surfers’ Paradise, Harbourtown, drove round whole of Gold Coast beach, tried ‘Charis Seafood’ by the beach with HUGE Pelicans and flying seagulls and 2 other types of birds that are white too.
Saw lots of interesting things at surfers’ paradise night life. Fights, gothics, babes, gays, whatever. Really happening place on weekend. Drunk people running or staggering all over the streets, risk of bottles falling over the clubs down over your head. Their fashion is also so interesting to see. Boots everywhere, tempting me. But Singapore is too warm and rainy for much boots I guess :
Slept in the car at night. Went over to explore the casino a little, forgot the name of the pub we went. We couldn’t get into any club or pub over at surfers’ paradise cause the guys are wearing bermudas long over knees but we could get into the pubs in the hotel. Didn’t take note of the name cause was too tired. The age gap of people in the pub there is really big for us but much safer and comfortable for ppl like me of cause. Explored the casino over at the hotel abit also. Saw blood there. A fight of cause. Interesting. Won a dollar and lost a dollar. No win no lose hehez.
Went to the much anticipated Pet Barn. Started sneezing like mad after I stepped in till now, plus everytime I touch the chicks and guinea pigs. The birds, puppies are cutee!!!!!! Beyond description. Lizards and snakes and scorpions and hairy spiders DO NOT interest me at all.
Vicky and Raj got 2 female guinea pigs. I didn’t support the idea at all. We fought slightly over names for them. Settled at Caramel and Hazel by me. Am jealous also since I can’t be with them after I go back.
Pictures for viewing in Photo Album on the left.
